I’m dying in emotion was a live Karaoke act and reading session, performed during the closing event of the 5th Oblique International 5 ½ proposals at Post-office North, Rotterdam. The performance elaborated on Karaoke and Japanese culture as a stereotype, using Wikipedia text, pop lyrics and over the top performing of 3 Karaoke songs.
The performance was held in an installation containing a sand-sculpture representing Mount Fuji, a poster of a Bonsai grower and a Karaoke installation.  The sand sculpture was functioning as a stage for the Karaoke performance, changing into a pile of sand during the course of the act.
